Day 01: Arrive Chennai

You will be received by one of our representatives at the airport and shifted to the hotel for the night stay.

Day 02: Chennai - Mahabalipuram

Your Indian tour begins with the sightseeing of the city of Chennai. It includes the "Parathasarathy Temple", "Kapaleshwar Temple", "Santhome Cathedral Church", "The Fort" and "Museum". In the afternoon, take a 1.30 hrs drive to Mahabalipuram (55 kms) to spend the night there.

Day 03: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry

Go around Mahabalipuram. See the Shore Temple, the Five Raths, the Arjuna's Penance and the Tiger Cave. From there, head to Pondicherry (90 kms /2 hrs.), which was formerly, a French Colony. You will find a blend of European culture with Indian traditions in the Auroville Ashram that lies in the city's outskirts. In Pondicherry, this Ashram is an important destination in the southern tour of religious sites in India. Spend the night there.

Day 04: Pondicherry - Thanjavur

In the morning, pay a visit to the Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Vedapureeswarar Temple and Manakula Vinayagar Temple. In the afternoon, take a 6 hrs drive to Thanjavur through Chidambaram. Called the rice bowl of Tamil Nadu, Thanjavur is 177 kms away from Pondicherry. Stay the night there.

Day 05: Thanjavur - Trichy - Madurai

In Thanjavur, see the Sri Brihadeeshwar temple, the Palace and Art Gallery. After this, proceed to Madurai. Enroute, you will be passing through Trichy (192 kms / 6 hrs.), which lies on the banks of the Cauvery river. You will be staying in Madurai for the night.

Day 06: Madurai

After a heavy breakfast, you will be sightseeing the city of Madurai. You will be visiting Sri Meenakshi Temple, for which Madurai is famous in a temple tour of south India. After that, Thirumala's Nayakar Mahal, Gandhi Museum and Thiruparangundram. Spend the night there.

Day 07: Madurai - Chennai

The next day, shift to the Madurai airport to fly to Chennai or Bombay. You will be received and shifted to the international airport to head homewards.
