Day 01: Delhi - Haridwar - Rishikesh
Take a 6hrs drive to Haridwar (222 kms), from Delhi. On the bank of sacred river, Ganga lies Haridwar that is regarded as the entrance to the abode of God. Proceed further to Rishikesh (24 Kms) to spend the night there.
Day 02: Rishikesh - Devprayag - Rishikesh
In the morning we will move over to Devprayag (2 hrs). It is a place that is associated with legendary customs, mythology and symbolic traditions. The sacred rivers Bhagirathi and Alaknanda meet here and together form the river named "Ganga" (Ganges). A Hindu tour of pilgrimage sites includes a visit to the sacred place of Devprayag. In the evening, see the "Sandhya Aarti" and offer evening prayers at Triveni Ghat (bank of River Ganges).
Day 03: Rishikesh
In the morning, see the city of Nirvana, Rishikesh that is lined up with many yoga centres. At evening proceed to the Saharanpur Railway station (2.5 hrs.) for a night journey to Pathankot.
Day 04: Pathankot - Dharamshala
Early in the morning, after arriving at Pathankot shift from the Railway Station and embark on a 3 hrs journey to Dharamshala (91 kms) by car. You are free for the rest of the day.
Day 05: Dharamshala - McLeodgunj
In the morning, proceed to Mcleodgunj- also called little Tibet. It houses the seat of exiled Government of Tibet spearheaded by its great spiritual leader - His Highness The Dalai Lama. Mcleodgunj is a major holy spot in the tour of religious sites of Buddhism.
Day 06: Dharamshala - Amirtsar
Take a 5 hrs drive to Amritsar (approximately 200 kms) and in the evening, pay a visit to the Golden Temple that is the divine central point of the religion of Sikhism. In the evening, you will be able to see the ritual of taking the Guru Granth Sahib (holy book of the Sikhs), from the main shrine.
Day 07: Amritsar - Delhi
In the morning go around Amritsar visiting the Golden Temple and the Jallianwala Bagh. Late, in the afternoon shift to the Railway station to catch the Shatabdi Express to reach Delhi. After arriving at Delhi, shift to the hotel. Your India tour ends here. We will transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
