Day 01 : Arrival in Delhi

The India tour begins from Delhi. After arrival in Delhi, you will be received by one of our representatives and will be shifted to the hotel. You will be spending the night there.

Day 02 : Around Delhi

India gate, DelhiYou will be visiting the various landmarks in Delhi. This includes Jama Masjid, the biggest mosque in Delhi built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Then, leave for the Red Fort, RajGhat-place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Visit India Gate- built in memory of the Indian Soldiers who died, fighting in World War I. You are only allowed to drive past the President's House & Parliament House. Pay a visit to the Humayun's Tomb (a memorial of the Mughals), the Qutab Minar & Lotus Temple.
Spend the night at the hotel, there.

Tour BokkingDay 03 : Delhi – Varanasi

You will have to head to the airport to board the flight IC 806 at 11:00 am to reach Varanasi at 12:15 pm. In the afternoon, take a drive to Sarnath (about 10 kms from the holy city of Varanasi). Here, the Buddha first began to teach the Dharma, more than 2500 years ago. Stay at night in the hotel in Varanasi.

Day 04 : Varanasi

VaranasiA boat ride, early in the morning on the sacred river Ganga. Ganga is a tourist hotspot in a religious India tour. You can see the sunrise and also the bathing Ghats of the holy city of the Hindus. Once had breakfast, a visit around the city of Varanasi for a whole day. Among the important tourist spots are Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas and the Banaras Hindu University. Stay the night, at the hotel, there.

Day 05 : Varanasi – Bodhgaya

Proceed to Bodhgaya (250 kms), which is a 7 hrs drive from Varanasi. It is the prime centre of pilgrimage for Buddhists and devotees from across the globe make a pilgrimage India tour. Here, Gautama Buddha attained enlightenment after heavy meditation.  Once arrived, shift to the hotel and a whole day is there to leisure around in Bodh Gaya. Spend the night at the hotel.

BodhgayaIn the tour of Buddhist pilgrimage sites, Bodh Gaya is a must visit tourist destination.  You will be visiting the various landmarks in Bodh Gaya. This includes Maha Bodhi Temple and Bodhi Tree and also the Chinese Temple. Later, in the afternoon you will pay a visit to the Niranjana River and Sujata Temple. You should also go to school of the destitute. Spend the night in Bodhgaya.

Day 07 : Bodhgaya - Nalanda - Rajgir - Patna

Pay a visit to ancient towns of Nalanda and Rajgir. Nalanda is an ancient university in India. It is a famous centre of learning for the Buddhists, established in the 5th century BC. till the 12th century A.D. It remained active up to the 12th century A.D. Rajgir was known to be historic capital of the Magadha Empire under King Bimbisara. It was under their stronghold. After lunch head to Patna (145 kms), which is a 4 hrs drive. Spend the night in Patna.
 
Day 08 : Patna - Vaishali - Kushinagar

KushinagarFrom Patna, leave for Kushinagar (260 kms) that is an 8 hrs drive. On the way, stop over Vaishali.  It is about 60 kms from Patna and holds holy significance for the Buddhists. Buddha attained Maha-Parinirvana in Kushinagar.

Day 9: Kushinagar: - Sravasti

In the morning, at Kushinagar proceed to the various stupas and temples. Buddha attained peace that is the state of Mahaparinirvana. Proceed to Sravasti (250 kms) that is a 7 hrs drive, from Kushinagar. Stay overnight in Sravasti.

Tour BokkingDay 10 : Sravasti - Lumbini

LumbiniIn the morning visit Sahet Mahet, which is the capital of ancient kingdom of Kosala. Also, include the Jetawana Gardens, Buddhist temples etc. In the afternoon, head to Lumbini  (197 kms), which is a 05 hrs drive. Gautam Buddha, who became enlightened, was born in Lumbini. Once arrived, shift to the hotel. Visit the Buddhist temples in the evening. Spend the night at the hotel in Lumbini.

Day 11 : Lumbini - Kathmandu

In Lumbini, visit the Buddhist temple & stupas in the morning. Move to the airport to board the flight to Kathmandu. Buddhists sites in India and Nepal is of great significance. Visit the various landmarks in the city of Kathmandu in the afternoon. It includes Durbar Square complex of palaces, courtyards and temples. These monuments were built in the period between the 12th and 18th centuries. The seat of the historic Malla kings of Katmandu used to be here.

Day 12 : Katmandu

KatmanduVisit the Swoyambhunath Stupa, which is the sacred pilgrimage sites of Buddhism in Nepal, in the morning. As it is placed on a hill, from the western side of the stupa, the valley can be seen. A lake connects the landmark to the valley, at Katmandu.

In the afternoon, head to the Patan City. It is also famous for beautiful palace buildings, artistic courtyards and former Royal palace complex. The palace displays their religion and their thick social life. In it, are many bronze statues and religious items. A temple, built in the 16th century, is a must visit landmark in Patan city. Dedicated to the Hindu god Krishna, it is built fully in stone.

Tour BokkingDay 13 : Kathmandu – Departure

In the morning, pay a visit Bhaktapur. The tourist hotspots include the Lion Gate and The Golden Gate. Move to the airport in the evening to proceed toward your homewards destination.
